McGarry, Prince, McGarry
The firm, was established in 1923 by John J. McGarry upon completing his undergraduate work and law school at Georgetown University. Years later he was joined by S. Victor Prince, who had just retired from the Probate Court for the District of New London as one of the Courts longest serving Judges. He brought with him his years of experience in drafting wills and trusts and probating estates.
In 1964, Thomas F. McGarry joined the firm after graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford and his undergraduate work at Providence College in Providence Rhode Island. Attorney McGarry practices in Southeastern Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar. The firm handles all aspects of the buying and selling of both residential and commercial real estate; the drafting of wills and trusts, the probating of estates both large and small, zoning and planning work before local boards and commissions, litigation of contract and construction disputes.
Attorney McGarry is a member of the Lyme - Old Lyme Lions and is counsel for the MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Foundation, Inc.
